this is my probably my best album since 2010 Traveling Without Water. it was primarily recorded using a headset microphone, and then I broke out a 2 channel mixer and did the final touches. Imagine how great this would have sounded in a real studio, and then give me some credit for squeezing every last drop of sound out of crappy equipment and a faulty human vessel ;)

12 new tunes recorded over the month of October 2012, a kind of post-apocalyptic sci-fi relationship minimalist pop record. A handful of the songs were recorded in a car while parked at a baseball field in southern new jersey. some coloring was added using a botched headset microphone. Available for download as 320kbps mp3 files.

1 long track becomes 151 tracks

unfinish was originally made as one long track with songs overlapping, without discretion to future editing.  wise heads decreed that subjecting listeners to 3 1/2 hours of a single track may considered hostile.  obviously, i wanted the songs to sound their best, but i also wanted them to exist in a state with as little editing as possible.  thus decisions were made as to where the tracks would end and begin.  i believe the best possible result is what i have presented.  as a note to listeners who will burn the tracks to CD, please make sure to select DAO (disc at once) and set the gap to 0, or else you will have odd breaks.  if your device does not support DAO, i am sorry for us all.
